The Person: For this role you should have two year’s experience of benthic taxonomy, a BSc and ideally an MSc in marine biology, or a closely related subject as well as knowledge of QA/QC procedures. You may specialise in one phylum, but should be sufficiently experienced to check identifications from a variety of phyla. You should be proficient in client, project and staff management with a flexible, can-do work attitude. It is essential that you are able to communicate issues to clients both verbally and in writing at a high standard of fluency.
