Aware of having received penalties for our treatment of Cypriots in past 2. years. 3. Fully aware Cyprus does not grant equal rights to Turkish citizens living in 4. Cyprus. 5. Concerned that Turkish people in Cyprus are in danger of alienation. 6. Noting with approval that the Republic of Cyprus was not founded as a 7. Greek state or a Turkish state but as a state based on the equal partnership 8. of two ethnic communities. 9. Recognizing that Turkish Cypriots were not considered a minority but 10.rather a cofounder of the Republic. 11.Aware that the guarantors of the Republic of Cyprus are Turkey, Greece 12.and Britain. 13.Deeply concerned that Turks in Cyprus were removed from most political 14.positions. 15.Taking into account that punishments have to be equally distributed in 16.order to maintain an equal balance throughout the world. 17. Calls upon Cyprus to pay 50,000 U.S. dollars 18. compensation to bereaved Turkish families living in enclaves. 19. Further recommends there is now an even greater need for 20. intervention in Cyprus. 21. Encourages the United Nation to send in peacekeeping delegations to 22. foster Israel’s compliance. 23. Further invites greater awareness of Israel’s provocative actions that 24. could lead to a national arms race. 25. Recommends that Cyprus return to its original state with its original 26. constitution granting equal rights to all inhabitants.
