None or negligible.
Fire fighting: Avoid exposure to combustion by-products of oiling material. Stay
up-wind and use breathing apparatus as appropriate.
5. Stability and reactivity
Cold Rolled Steel Coils are stable and non-reactive at a wide range of temperatures
and under normal conditions.
Incompatibilities:
Strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, may produce exothermic reactions.
6. Health and safety information
1) Warning:
Exposure to high concentration of dust or fume during welding, burning melting,
cutting, brazing, grinding and possibly machining, etc. may produce immediate or
delayed damage to lungs or other organs.
This product may be oiled with materials that could result in skin irritation with
prolonged contact.
2) Precautions:
Avoiding breathing or ingesting dust or fume. Adequate ventilation is required
while welding, burning, melting, cutting, brazing, grinding and possibly machining.
Avoid skin contact if material is coated.

For overexposure to airborne dust and fume, remove exposed person to fresh air. If
breathing is difficult or has stopped, administer artificial respiration or oxygen as
indicated, seek medical attention promptly.
If product is coated and excessive skin contact occurs, wash with soap and water. If
irritation develops, seek medical attention.
4) Protection:
Approved respirators and safety glasses should be used during welding, burning,
melting, cutting, brazing, grinding and possibly machining, etc.. Protective clothing
may be needed depending on operations.
7. Handling
Individual coil may weigh up to 22mt respectively, Hoists, cranes, grips and other
handling equipment must be load-rated accordingly.
Because of the sharp edge of the Cold Rolled Steel Coils , do not let it contact any
part of your body directly.
Extra precaution must be taken when bending Cold Rolled Steel Coils ,
cracking or bouncing back can be sudden and release great amounts of energy.
8. Ozone depleting chemicals & products
Our products do not contain any of the, in the EPA regulations Class 1 or Class 2
designated, substances, nor do they come in contact with Ozone Depleting
Chemical during production.
9. Mercury
Mercury is not used in our manufacturing, either in steel production or oiling
material.
