Notes:
Please make sure that you liaise with the previous and the next school about transferring the Icon of
Mary and the script for Liturgy (also on our website www.nottingham-des.org.uk) . Each school
should also have a Year of Faith candle (these were distributed from the Cathedral at the opening
liturgy – if you did not get yours, please contact Julia Palmer on 0115 953 9800) and some Year of
Faith prayer cards, one for each child from Key Stage 2 onwards.
Please contribute to the book - perhaps add your school prayer, some photos, artwork and/or some
prayers for the Year of Faith, whatever you feel appropriate. The books will be presented to Bishop
Malcolm at the closing mass and should form a super memento for the Year of Faith from the
schools in our diocese.
