Both basic scientific research and clinical implementation of cancer immunotherapies will be covered. The course comprises an introduction on May 17 by the course organizers on cancer immunotherapy and the tumor microenvironment, followed by three days of active participation of the PhD students in paper discussions, on May 18, 19 and 20. The course participants will attend the National Symposium on Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy on Thursday May 26, with many key opinion leaders in this exciting and rapidly changing field of research. The course ends with meet-the-expert sessions and the ‘Immunology meets Biotech’ discussions on Friday May 27, given by successful scientists/entrepreneurs in the field of Immunology/ Immunotherapy.
