12,000 sq. ft/ day in a dense stand BUT be careful – the herbicide is labeled not to exceed 8 qts per acre. Eight quarts is 2,524 stems at 3mL/stem. This comes to just one stem every 17 square feet over an acre (4+ feet o.c.)
2.5 gallons (1 jug ~ about 1 crew day) = 3,150 stems – has to be at least 55,000 sq ft to meet label requirements
Watering:
Typically give about 3 gallons per plant (30 secs flow from a hose), varies depending on soil conditions, rainfall, frequency of watering, budget avail.
To drain the 325 gallon tank takes about 1 hour w. 2 -3 people, depending on terrain and access
(moving hoses around without damaging plants can take up time)
To refill from a garden hose takes about an hour plus travel time, or get a permit for hydrant or to pump water directly from on-site water body.
