Additional Information for International Students Applicants for whom English is not their first language would normally require either: an IELTS score of 6.5 or a TOEFL score of 575 (paper-based), or 90 (internet-based) or an equivalent qualification. Duration 1 year full-time or up to a maximum of 31 months part-time Number of places 20 Course Content Four taught modules from the following: Research Methodologies and Postcolonial Theoretical Contexts (compulsory) Dissertation (compulsory double module) Modern Indian Literature in English Northern Ireland and the World Post-Colonial Memory Postcolonial Timor-Leste Reading the Book of Nature Roots of Liberation: Theology and Martyrdom in Latin America 1500-2000 The Politics of Northern Ireland The Politics of the Republic of Ireland Assessment The taught modules will normally be assessed by written assignments; candidates for the MA who have reached a pass mark in the taught modules will submit a dissertation of 15,000 words.
