Subtitles: Arial, 10 pt, bold, left aligned. Use two blank lines between the text and the next title. Paragraph spacing is to be kept as 8 pt. Paper margins: top (2.54cm), bottom (2.54cm), left (1.90 cm), right (1.90cm). Please do not forget to write three digit paper number in place of XXX> The Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) was constituted on November 15, 1983 by the President of India by exercising the powers conferred by Section 27 of the Atomic Energy Act, 1962 (33 of 1962) to carry out certain regulatory and safety functions under the Act. The regulatory authority of AERB is derived from the rules and notifications promulgated under the Atomic Energy Act, 1962 and the Environmental (Protection) Act, 1986. The headquarters is in Mumbai. LENGTH OF THE PAPER The length of the paper inclusive of figures, tables and plots should be preferably 4-6 pages. It should not exceed 8 pages in any case. Please note that the author shall bear full responsibility for the content of the published paper. If the manuscript includes the contents of previously published work, the author must explicitly specify the information on the published work (title of paper, name of publication/journal, volume number, page, year of issue, etc.). SECTION HEADING <HEADING LEVEL-1> <Titles: Arial 10 pt, bold, uppercase, left aligned> AERB is supported by the Safety Review Committee for Operating Plants (SARCOP), Safety Review Committee for Applications of Radiation (SARCAR) and Advisory Committees for Project Safety Review (ACPSRs) (e.g. nuclear power, light water reactor, and waste management projects). ACPSRs recommend to AERB issuance of authorisations at different stages of a plant of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), after reviewing the submissions made by the plant authorities based on the recommendations of the associated Design Safety Committees. The SARCOP carries out safety surveillance and enforces safety stipulations in the operating units of the DAE. The SARCAR recommends measures to enforce radiation safety in medical, industrial and research institutions which use radiation and radioactive sources. 1 Subsection <Heading level-2> <The heading level-2 are to be Arial 10 pt, left aligned with each word capitalized. The text is to be justified. The spacing to the next heading is two line spaces.> CITING REFERENCES Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). In addition, multiple citations (3 or more in the same brackets) must appear as a “[1-3]”. REFERENCES UNITS The paper should use SI units. Reference style 1. Single author: the author's name (without initials, unless there is ambiguity) and the year of publication; 2. Two authors: both authors' names and the year of publication; 3. Three or more authors: first author's name followed by 'et al.' and the year of publication. The references must be listed in the order they appear in the main text. FIGURE 1.
