There are two types of membership to the Alliance. Full membership is open to disabled people
and representatives from organisations controlled by disabled people that support the principles of
the organisation. At meetings, full members will have three votes each. Ally membership is open
to individuals and representatives from organisations who are not eligible to be full member but
who support the principles of the organisation. At meetings, ally members will have one vote each.

The Alliance for Inclusive Education is a charity and we rely on membership fees and
donations to do much of our work. Standing orders are particularly fantastic because they
give us a regular income which allows us to plan ahead. If you pay for your membership
using a standing order, it cuts down on the amount of administration we have to do and we
never have to bother you for renewals!
You could go even further in your commitment to inclusion and choose to support us
regularly. Even a small amount a month makes a difference, for example a hundred
people pledging £5 a month equals £6,000 a year. This could pay for printing and
distributing Inclusion Now for a whole year, or for a part time Press Officer.

The Alliance for Inclusive Education is a registered charity (number
1124424) and if you are a UK tax payer, your donations AND
Membership fees are eligible for Gift Aid, at no extra cost to you.
Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, ALLFIE gets an extra 28
pence from the Inland Revenue. This means that £10 can be turned into
£12.80, just so long as donations and fees are made through Gift Aid.
We can only claim Gift Aid on your *contribution if you pay income tax or
capital gains tax worth at least as much as we could claim in Gift Aid. If you
don't know whether this applies to you, call us and we will help.
