11th World Congress on Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimisation 07th -12th, June 2015, Sydney Australia Guidelines for Preparation of Updated Abstract (Times New Roman, 16 pt, Bold, Centred) First Author1, Second Author2, (Underline the Presenting Author, Times New Roman, 14 point, Bold, Centred) 1 2 University of Sydney, NSW, Australia, your_email@sydney.edu.au Affiliation, including city, country, email address (Times New Roman, 12 point, Centred) Abstract Upon acceptance, the author may consider submitting an updated abstract (no more than 500 words or no longer than one page of this template) for being included into the WCSMO-11 eBook of Abstracts by 31 March 2015, which will be distributed to the participants at the Congress. The updated abstract must closely follow this MS Word template and please use a file name of your corresponding paper ID (i.e. 1234.doc) to email to wcsmo11@gmail.com. The abstract should be typed in Times New Roman, 12 point, and align the text to both the left and right margins. The updated abstract allows having several paragraphs with first line indent by 0.5cm. The updated abstract is expected to provide considerable details about the work presenting in WCSMO-11, including a brief introduction to the problem, specific methods to be developed/adopted, results for discussion and some concluding remarks. If the references are essential, they must be indicated by number(s) in square brackets [1-3] in line with the text, should be listed at the end of the text using the following formats for journal article [1], book [2] and conference paper [3]. The presenting author must register by 30 April 2015 (although non-presenting authors are allowed to register by 31 May 2015), otherwise the abstract and full-length paper (if any) will be removed from the final program, eBook of Abstracts and Congress proceedings. It is also ISSMO policy if the presenter fails to appear (even if the author is pre-registered and paid) to present (i.e., no show), then the abstract and paper will not be posted on the ISSMO website. Please note that it is ISSMO policy to have “one paper one registration”. If you have submitted more than one paper, you need to clearly specify the paper ID and title you wish to present in WCSMO-11 during your registration. Others will be automatically removed, if there is no corresponding registration after 30 April 2015. If you have co-authored with your colleagues, please ensure that the proper registrations are all made by 30 April 2015. References [1] P.G. Coelho, P.R. Fernandes, J.M. Guedes, H.C.
