L: Almighty God, we give thanks for those gifts of yours that change life
into a thing of meaning and beauty:
P: For love, which transforms our attitude to fellow men and women,
making personal relationships deep and fulfilling,
L: For joy, which strengthens our happiness when we are glad, and which
underlies even our sorrows,
P: For peace, which nothing in this world can destroy,
L: And above all, for the gift of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lived for us,
who died for us, and now reigns over us as risen Lord, loving master,
and gracious friend.
