Junior Development Program Groups
Tournament Prep Group - $288.00 per 8 Week Session
Tournament training is for motivated and competitive juniors who are in pursuit of a USTA National,
Southern and Tennessee State rankings and are competing in Level 4 & 5 USTA/Sectional/Tennessee
Tournaments.
High Performance Group - $288.00 per 8 Week Session
Tournament training for highly motivated and competitive juniors who are in pursuit of a top USTA National,
Southern and Tennessee State rankings and are competing in Level 1, 2 & 3 USTA/Sectional/Tennessee
Tournaments. Areas of Emphasis Technique (stroke development, improvement of mechanics), Strategy &
Tactics (how to play smarter and more effectively), Mental Toughness (the psychological and emotional
aspects of the game), Conditioning (strength flexibility and stamina), Movement (balance, agility, footwork)
Beginners Group - $192.00 per 8 Week Session
Is an introduction to the basic strokes that are required to play tennis (forehand, backhand, volley, serve, and
the overhead) using low compression balls and smaller racquets designed for smaller kids. This allows kids
to begin playing quicker. Instructors will use games and drills that will also teach proper footwork and eyehand coordination that will help to connect with the ball. Designed for younger kids who have never played,
or have very little experience.
Tiny Tots Group - $96.00 per 8 week Session
Tiny Tots Program is tennis using the Quick-Start Tennis play format takes a new and better approach to
introducing kids to the game. Balls are lower in compression; they bounce lower and don't move as fast so
they are easier to hit. This allows kids time to get to the ball and helps them develop optimal swing patterns. Racquets are sized for small hands, and the courts are smaller and easier to cover. All that equals
more fun and less frustration.

indemnify and hold harmless the City of Memphis, Tennis Memphis (TMI) and any sponsors of the program and their respective employees, staff, officers,
