Please refer tender document for tender no. T-676/2011-12 for Erection & painting of 40M Towers in Ahmednagar SSA.
(A) In this connection a corrigendum is hereby issued in Annex-IV A under scope of work specification at S.No. 8.1, 8.2
& 11(a) as detailed below.

placed vertically in the excavated trench of size 30cm wide & 150cm depth around the Tower
foundation & it should be one Meter away from foundation wall. The Strip/plates Shall be
interconnected with 50 x 6 mm G.I. Strip at bottom of pit & four ends of 50 x 6 mm G.I.
strips should be brought to the top of Foundation to Connect the legs of Tower with proper
arrangement of holes for fitting the Nut & Bolts. The GI strips should have curved binding
at all corners &all connections are to be made with GI strip & bolts The pit should be filled
with good quality of charcoal & salt up to dept of 900 mm, remaining portion shall be filled
with good quality of black soil without stone. The masonry chamber shall be provided at
ground level of size 700 x 700 x150mm with a hole in the middle to pass the GI pipe of
20mm dia(with supply of Material) with provision for funnel and cover with CI frame & with
locking arrangement(with supply & fixing of material).The Funnel shall be fixed with wire
mesh. Filling the available excavated earth around the foundation with ramming & watering
and make it plan. Lifting the balance earth including stone etc & place at appropriate place.
The work shall be carried out up to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
2. Providing and fixing lead strips for connecting GI strip as all connection are made by GI
nut & bolts for GI to GI with Lead strip of 1 to 3mm thick in between for ensuring proper
surface contact
Provision of Horizontal runway from tower to specified place in Hut/building
a. Supply and fixing of Horizontal runway of size 45cm width using GI angles of
40mmx40mmx5mm and 20x4mm flat spaced at 40Cm centre to centre fixing
