The Village of Corinth DPW, along with Eastside Recycling, will be conducting a scrap metal drive for a period of 2 weeks. The dates will be from July 12th to July 25th. The hours of operation are every day from 7:00am – 3:00pm. (On Fri. – Sun., if no one shows, we will be cutting the hours short.) The materials that we will be accepting are as follows: Copper: sheeting, stripped and insulated wire, tubing and plumbing, etc. Aluminum: siding, roofing, window trim, auto rims, cast aluminum, etc. Brass: valves, fittings, art, shell casings, etc. Stainless Steel: anything Steel: anything made of iron or steel Tin: appliances, desks, filing cabinets, etc. Car Batteries Radiators Propane Tanks – tanks must be empty Cars/Trucks – all fluids must be drained Electric Motors Junk auto tires on rims 16 inches or smaller – TIRES MUST BE ON RIMS. NO TIRES WITHOUT RIMS. NO TIRES LARGER THAN 16 INCHES! Please bring all scrap to the DPW Garage and we will assist you in sorting your material. Our address is 421 Mill St. The bins will be located behind and to the right of the DPW Garage. It may be possible to have large items picked up by Eastside Recycling throughout the scrap drive.
