(Source: 1995 History of the NCPTA) In 1996, the NCPTA Board of Directors reinstated the Membership Committee to work as an extension of the Director of Membership with the Director as the chair. (Source 1996 History of the NCPTA) PURPOSE: The purpose of this committee is to develop, organize and monitor membership recruitment and retention activities. MEMBERSHIP: Director-at-Large – Membership shall serve is the chair of the Membership Committee. Committee members should include one (1) representative from each district.
