The Director, National Research Laboratory for Conservation of Cultural Property (NRLC), Lucknow 226024 (U.P.) invites sealed tender/quotations for supply of the following Equipments from Indian / foreign
manufacturers / Authorized distributors.

Modular Spacio of tile based system with a hook-on type metric tile based system
with a thickness of 55 mm
Size:5’x2.6’(main table) with side return unit in 3’x 1.6’ with central locks
Specifications:
Main Frame
The main frame should be of Ht. 4 Feet including the Top Trims & Glide Screws in closed
condition. The frame should comprise of 2 vertical uprights, a top horizontal tube and a
bottom C channel as a welded structure.
Vertical upright should me made of 1.5mm thick CRCA M.S. Grade D formed into “C”
channel of 28.4 X 40.
The top horizontal to be a 1.2 mm thick M.S. tube of 38.1 X 25.4 mm (1 X 1 ½ inch).
The bottom horizontal to be a 1.5 mm thick M.S. ‘C’ channel of size 38.1mm x 25.4 mm (1 ½
in x 1 in).
The frame has to be powder coated in standard black colour.
Fabric Tiles
Fabric magnetic tiles to be fabric ( thickness of 0.7 mm ) upholstered metal tiles
in 0.6 mm thick M.S. CRCA Grade D as per IS:513 – 1994 .
Metal Tiles
Metal tiles to be plain powder coated metal tiles in 0.6 mm thick M.S. CRCA Grade
D as per IS:513 – 1994 .
Fascias and Raceways
To be powder coated, in 0.6 mm thick M.S. CRCA Grade D as per IS:513 -1994,

which is hinged using plastic hinge for fascia made in PP (BLACK).
Top and End Trims
Powder coated aluminum alloy (of grade He-9 – 63400) Flat trims of 53.5mm X
13mm and average wall thickness of 1.2 mm to be fitted on the top horizontal using M6 X
55L bolts & Nut and the open vertical ends of the upright using M6 X 25L Bolt & Nut.
Work Surface
Worktop 25 mm thick prelaminated (with PVC lipping) -Work top shall be made
of 25mm thick Prelaminated particle board interior grade of approved shade conforming to
IS:12823:1990 . Bottom shall have a backing laminate of minimum 0.6 mm thickness. All the
edges of work surface shall be provided with machine pressed 2 mm thick PVC lipping
glued with hotmelt EVA glue.Work top shall be mounted onto the partition panels for work
stations by means of cantilever brackets made from 2.0 mm thick CRCA grade D steel as
per IS:513-1994 duly pretreated and powder coated in black colour. The work surface shall
be provided with circular cut out of Dia.65mm as per the requirement, for passing of wires.
These cut outs shall be provided with ABS covers.
Dimensions of Worktop – 5 ft. * 2.6 ft.
Dimensions of Extended Side Return Unit - 3 ft. * 1.6 ft.

PARTITION PANELS:
Components for cubicle are made of 25mm thick prelaminated particle board panel with
complete DL & (DL + GL) profile.
Pre laminated Particle board:
Physical characteristics and test requirements should be as per IS 2380-1977.

Vertical member & connectors is of aluminium extrusions with powder coated finish.
WORK SURFACE:

Thickness: 25mm

Work surfaces is made up of prelaminated particle board /Particle board with 1 mm thick
laminate on both the sides.

Work surfaces should have superior quality Machine pressed PVC edge banding on all
the four side for making then moisture resistant.

Work surfaces as per required locations is provided with cutouts having plastic covers
for carrying wires to work surface.
Prelaminated Particle -Board used in work surfaces should confirm to IS -2380 - 1977
Standards.
Shelf : Is made up of prelaminated particle board & with PVC edge binding.
Aluminium Alloy Extrusion:
One
Aluminium Alloy Extrusions shall be used for modular cabins and shall be epoxy powder
coated as follows:
EPOXY POWDER COATING
Specific gravity of powder 1.6 (±0.2)
DFT of 50 to 60 microns,
Pencil hardness of 2H,
Cross Hatch Adhesion (Din 553151) of GT= ‘O’.
Scratch Hardness 3 Kg.
Impact resistance=150 Kg cm.
It is able to withstand min 500 hr of Salt Spray test.
DRAWER UNITS:

Drawers units is free standing, having two small size drawers & one big size drawer
with ball slide bearings.

All steel components in the drawers is made up of prime quality cold- rolled close
annealed steel, of the required thickness.

Drawers have powder- coated finish.

Drawers is of snap shut design for single key operation.

Drawer is fitted with ( Godrej Multi latch Lock)
Steel Components:
Prime quality CRCA Rerolled steel of 22 G to 16 G depending on Component used.
All Steel components is subjected to 7 stage corrosion resistant and anti rust treatment.

Level adjusting screw is provided at the bottom of the partition panels for height
adjustability.

Partitions panels is standing & no grouting on floor must be required for erection of the
system.
KEY BOARD PULL OUT TRAY:





KBPT have smooth ball slide movement.
KBPT have front loading facility.
KBPT have sliding mouse tray.
KBPT have powder coated finish.
KBPT have adjustable fixing brackets.
Aluminium Door for Counter:
The Alunimium door is of anodized Aluminium of size 4.5’ (h) x 2.5’ (w) having Godrej Night
latch model 2C and the section of aluminium used for door is 100mmx65mm all over.

The cover containing quotation should be sealed and super scribed No.F. 18-02/2011-NRLC Tender/
Quotation for the equipment and last date of submission of tender is on or before 26.12.2011
Quotation shall be valid at least 90 days from the date of opening of tender.
The equipment should be installed by the firm.
Rectifications of any defects or cracks, etc., noticed during a period of one year from the date of supply
shall be the responsibility of the supplying firms at their own cost and risk.
No advance payment shall be made.
Department reserves its right to reject all or any quotation without assigning reason.
Department also reserve the right to put the material into test at least one month from the date of delivery
for the satisfaction of the Institute.
The Director, NRLC, reserve the right of refusing and accepting the supply, either in full or part beyond the
period of delivery or due to quality being unacceptable.
