Attends Funeral of Cousin
Martin Metzler and son, Harold , went to Finday, Ohio, Friday, where on
Saturday, they attended the funeral of Mr. Metzler’s cousin, Lewis Slope. They returned
home Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Slope, 72, was a life long resident of Hancock county, Ohio. He was a retired
grocer and for 14 years raised and sold vegetable plants. He is survived by his wife, and
two sons and two granddaughters. Mr. Slope visited his cousins here on various
occasions and was known to others of the community.
