LEGENDARY TRIO CROSBY, STILLS & NASH TO LAUNCH MAJOR COAST-TO-COAST
NORTH AMERICAN TOUR ON MAY 31, THEIR FIRST OUTING TOGETHER SINCE ’05
Los Angeles, CA, MARCH 4, 2008: David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash are “three together” once
again as they gear up for a marathon spring and summer Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN) tour of North America. The
schedule kicks off in Santa Rosa, CA on May 31, and wraps in Memphis, TN on August 9, encompassing over
forty dates coast-to-coast in between. It is the legendary trio’s first tour since 2005 – the last time all three were
united on the road in any configuration was for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s 2006 Freedom Of Speech Tour.
The itinerary starts in the west, with highlights including Jacksonville, OR’s Britt Pavilion (6/1),
Vancouver, BC’s Centre for the Performing Arts (6/4), Los Angeles, CA’s Greek Theatre (6/14) and the Santa
Barbara Bowl (6/18). Among the tour’s many other notable stops along the way are dates at the Wells Fargo
Theatre in Denver, CO (6/26), Minneapolis, MN’s Orpheum Theater (7/11), Boston, MA’s Bank of America Pavilion
(7/25), the Central Park SummerStage at Rumsey Playfield in NYC (7/29) and Chastain Park Amphitheater in Atlanta,
GA (8/2).

CSN first formed in Los Angeles in 1968, each one coming to the group with a pedigree from another
influential act: David Crosby from The Byrds, Stephen Stills from Buffalo Springfield, and Graham Nash from The
Hollies. Their self-titled 1969 debut album – featuring song classics including “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,”
“Marrakesh Express” and “Guinnevere” – was an instant masterpiece that helped them score that year’s Best
New Artist GRAMMY® and is now #259 on Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of the “500 Greatest Albums Of All
Time.”
When CSN’s Greatest Hits compilation was issued in 2005, music journalist David Wild noted in his
review, also in Rolling Stone, that the trio was, “…the original late-Sixties harmonic convergence…the first
supergroup worthy of the tag…Where earlier groups such as the Everly Brothers and the Beach Boys offered
brotherly blends of harmony, CSN introduced a revolutionary chemistry of varied voices and songwriting
styles.” The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame echoes that sentiment in their online summary of the group’s 1997
induction, noting that, Crosby, Stills & Nash have remained America’s longest-running experiment in vocal
harmony and social relevance.”
As one of the most popular, enduring and influential acts to emerge out of the original Woodstock era
(they made their second-ever concert appearance – with Neil Young – at the ’69 festival), CSN has often been
called the “voice of an entire generation.” On tour in the U.S. in a landmark election year, CSN’s collective
voice will be as loud and as clear as ever, with peerless harmonies and messages of social justice seamlessly
sharing the spotlight, reaching many generations of fans across America.
