Create a Visual Timeline of an Ancient Civilization Reflect on any ancient civilizations, and images of great works of art, architecture, heroic figures, and exotic cultures spring to mind. Review the history of past civilizations and the rise and decline of empires and dynasties, and the impact of significant innovations, inventions, and ideas play a prominent role. Your challenge is to create a visual time line that captures the main eras of a civilization as well as major accomplishments in science and technology, art and architecture, intellectual and religious thought, and military conquests and defeats. Using vivid images, concise and informative captions, and a creative layout and design that capture the essence of the civilizations, your time line should provide a dramatic portrayal of the civilization studied.
