Spillway 3 metres ADDENDUM TO REPORT OF 19th JUNE 2010 An inquiry was held on 18th.June 2010 as the result of a specimen taken from the horse GENTLE WAVE after it ran 2nd on the 14th March 2010 in the 6th Race run at Borrowdale Park Racecourse tested positive for a prohibited substance, namely Dexamethasone. Trainer Mrs. N. Peech was charged in terms of Rule 73.2.4 for being the Trainer and person responsible for GENTLE WAVE when this horse ran in the 6th Race at Borrowdale Park Racecourse on the 14th March 2010 and the horse contained a prohibited substance. Mrs. Peech pleaded guilty to the charge. The Board found Mrs. Peech guilty and imposed a fine of US$3000.00 Furthermore, Gentle Wave is disqualified from the said Race in terms of Rule 72.3.2 and the provisions of Rue 67.7.8 apply. Mrs. Peech has the right of appeal against the penalty imposed.
