It represents the culmination of much work transferring running of the site to a new design team who also run Renal Patient View. The script has been rewritten into the same language as RPV and the database transferred to the same secure server. Future work will enable the two databases to integrate for seamless information transfer. For the user the website appears identical and any bugs have been fixed. Meanwhile recruitment continues for the two pilot studies, Membrano Proliferative Glomerulo Nephritis and Steroid Resistant Nephrotic Syndrome, with over 270 patients recruited nationwide to participate in this cutting edge research. AIRG-France has taken recently the initiative of creating a European federation on genetic renal diseases, called FEDERG in liaison with European professional organizations (ESPN-ERA/EDTA) and the support of the European patient's organization on rare diseases EURORDIS. I was invited by the Secretary of ESPN to make a presentation of the FEDERG initiative last 15th March 2012 in front of the ESPN Council in Amsterdam. Following the discussion with the council, it was proposed to contact all ESPN national representatives to inform them about the initiative, and about the founding meeting in Paris to be held in Paris the 26th May 2012. We would very much appreciate if you could disseminate this information among your colleagues and among national patient associations which are concerned by genetic renal diseases. We thank you very much in advance for your help and for the support of ESPN.
