Helps patients learn better ways to handle common problems
such as:
 Low self-confidence
 Stress
 Sleep problems
 Anxiety
 Panic Attacks
 Depression
GPs to provide
clients with self
referral leaflet



WAMM is an educative course, not a group therapy
5 week course of 1.5 hours duration
Available day time and evenings at a local venue
Guided self-help approach based on CBT techniques. They
work with:
 Depression or low mood
 Worry or anxiety
 Anxiety with depression
 Panic or phobia
 Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
GPs to provide
clients with self
referral leaflet

Wellbeing Practitioners usually offer 4-6 sessions telephone
or face to face interventions
Sessions are 30 - 45 minutes each
One off workshops,covering four main areas:
 Stress
 Anxiety
 Depression
 Self Esteem
GPs to provide
clients with self
referral leaflet




Workshops are interactive but no requirement to discuss
personal problems
Workshops are approx 3 hours long
Available day time and evenings at a local venue
Can be a stand alone intervention or attended alongside
one to one sessions
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an effective
psychological treatment for:
 Moderate to severe depression
 Complex anxiety problems
 Social anxiety
 Post traumatic stress problems
 Obsessive compulsive disorder
 Health Anxiety
Run by Senior Wellbeing Practitioner. Helps people learn ways
of managing depression. The course covers:
 Mindfulness
 Compassion
 Values
 Self esteem
 Core beliefs
Wellbeing
Practitioners


CBT therapists usually offer 6 - 20 sessions
Sessions are approx 45 minutes each
