Responsibilities of the Business Continuity Coordinator can include: Develop and Maintain [Portfolio] Continuity Plan. Ensure all Critical Personnel are trained in their duties and responsibilities. Coordinate with Environmental Health and Safety to conduct at least one drill per year. Ensure emergency kits are maintained. Collect accountability data. Coordinate with first responders (Public Safety, Fire, Police, EMS, etc.). Provide the number and location of people in safe zones. Do not allow people to enter/re-enter building until allowed by competent authority. Coordinate department or Portfolio efforts during plan development and recovery.
