EGLIN INSTALLATION GROWTH COMMITTEE
GROWTH MANAGEMENT PLAN KICK-OFF MEETING
JUNE 18, 2008
MINUTES
The Eglin Installation Growth Committee meeting was held June 18, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the
Okaloosa County Water & Sewer Building, 1804 Lewis Turner Blvd., 3rd floor large conference
room. Attendee list is provided below (attachment 1).
Jeff Fanto, the County’s Growth Project Coordinator, called the meeting to order and thanked
everyone for attending. He then introduced Chairman James Campbell for his welcome remarks.
Chairman Campbell also thanked everyone for attending, for their interest and participation on
the Eglin Installation Growth Committee. He was looking forward to the consultants getting
started on this very important study.
Jeff Fanto then introduced Bob Kellner, Vice President of HDR Engineering, Inc. who is the lead
for the study effort.
Bob Kellner gave introductory remarks and thanked the County for this opportunity. He said his
company’s goal was to create a dynamic document to be used, not just another study to sit on a
shelf. He was looking forward to this relationship between his firm and everyone involved in
this effort. He then introduced Joe Ehardt, project manager, who presented the overview
briefing.
Joe Ehardt thanked everyone for their attendance. He presented a briefing (attachment 2) that
highlighted the plan elements and the Element Task Leaders charged with the responsibility for
successfully completing this project.
A question and answer period followed.
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 10:30 a.m.
