Villa del Quar is an important Venetian Villa, National Monument only 5 minutes far from
the downtown. It has been awarded since 20 years among the top ten hotels in Italy by
Gambero Rosso Guide. It is a 5 Stars Hotel and belongs to the exclusive chain of
Relais & Chateaux and it is Virtuoso member too.
Surrounded by a wide park with gardens and vineyards, all protected by ancient walls of the
roman and renaissance period.
We are in a very quite position, in a historical property where the echoes of the past and the
pleasant sounds of the countryside assure you a complete privacy.
The hotel consists of 25 rooms, 12 Double and 13 Suites, and has its own restaurant
Gourmand “Arquade” with its 5 dining rooms and 2 bars.
The interior décor is true antique Neo classical, the luxury details and Venetian tissues create
an atmosphere of great charm; the Empire style reigns everywhere. Thanks to a philological
renovation we have created the "spirit" of the villa.
Art, Architecture and landscape blend together, three points that we want to promote and
forward to our guests, assisting them in discovering & enjoying everything that the beautiful
Valpolicella and the Veneto region can offer them.
Guided tours, excursions, events, wine tasting, cooking classes, all this will be at guest
disposal during the stay.
Our territory is characterized by 41 UNESCO sites (the richest in the world) and also by
Castles, Villas, Palaces and monumental Gardens. Its beauty has been celebrated by famous
painters such as Tiziano, Paolo Veronese and architects of the Renaissance, above all
Palladio.
Here at Villa del Quar 3 great wines are produced : Satyrvs, a sort of “Valpolicella” of
which it shares not only the same grapes but also the structure quite slim and elegant.
The Avsia, it is a result of a spontaneous genetic mutation in the white version of a typical
Valpolicella red grape called the "Rondinella". This wine is characterized by a very fresh and
mineral taste. The Svblitis, similar to an Amarone but with a percentage of Merlot, has a soft
taste ideally made for women.
We welcome civil wedding ceremony and the Villa can be reserved for exclusive use for
one or more days.
Events, weddings, private parties and celebrations up to 500 persons. We have a covered
area (all on the ground floor and air-conditioned) of 900 square meters + 3000 square meters
of marquee.
In the Restaurant “Arquade” we propose a fine delicate Cuisine with a touch of
Mediterranean tastes and with particular attention to the local products according to the
seasons.
The dishes, carefully studied by our Chef, will surprise you; every Wedding Menu is
personalized and created directly with the clients listening to their wishes and preferences.
Any special request due to allergies and intolerances can be successfully resolved.
