Klimt was very much to the depiction of the human form. In the chosen painting above, what do you find to be a common element? In a ½ page essay explain the art style of Art Nouveau, and the work and biography of Gustav Klimt. 1. Choose a photo of famous person from magazine, you will need only head and arms or hands. Glue these to your scratchboard, placing them so that you will be able to create an intricate design of pattern, line, shapes in the background of this collage/drawing. 2. After you have placed your photos on the board, lightly sketch in a garment, shirt, etc, which you will lightly pattern or fill. The background is then to be richly patterned using lines and textures using scratchboard tool. 3. Keep the unscratched area covered with paper towel so as not to transfer oils from your skin to the board 4. Make sure that each area stands out strongly against the next in your background and that each area is distinctly different. 5.
