About the Separations Spreadsheets Mark Burns – University of Michigan Prof. Mark Burns at the University of Michigan has created, with the help of James Sung and Wilbur Woo, undergraduate students in the department (now graduated). Altogether, there are15 different EXCEL spreadsheets that Mark makes available to students in his required undergraduate Separations Processes course, ChE 344. Each spreadsheets is written to solve a general class of problems, so that students can solve a wide variety of assigned problems with different input parameters, and also see instantly the effects of parameter variation.
