NOTE FOR ALL CATEGORIES:
i. Prescribed Age limit for categories of posts at Sr.No. 1 to 4 is 21 years to 45
years and for Sr.No. 5 to 17 is 18 years to 45 years.
ii. Qualification of Punjabi pass upto Matriculation Standard from a recognized
Institution/Board is essential for all the posts
iii. Reservation of posts shall be as per policy of Govt. of Punjab as amended from time to time.
B.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
i.
Selection shall strictly be as per Merit-list drawn on the basis of Written MCQ Type
Examination of 100 Maximum Marks. The question paper for categories at Sr.No. 1 to 9,
12 & 14 shall be in English only and for other categories it will be bilingual (both in English
and Punjabi), except the questions on languages. It will be of two hours duration having 100
objective type questions with multiple choice answers each carrying one mark, as detailed
below:

Minimum qualifying Marks for all candidates will be 35% (Thirty Five percent) of Maximum
marks. There will be negative marking. 0.25 of the mark of a question shall be deducted for
every wrong answer.
ii.
Merit list of General & Reserved category Candidates shall be prepared separately for each
category of post and shall be based on marks obtained in the written examination
iii.
In case some qualifying candidates obtain equal marks, then for selection preference shall be
given to a candidate elder-in-age
iv.

HOW TO APPLY
i. The candidate has to verify himself that he/she fulfils all the eligibility conditions for the post.
Appearing in the Written examination and qualifying the test on the basis of information
provided in the Application and tentative eligibility, does not entitle him/her for appointment
to the post. The recruitment shall be subject to verification of Testimonials and the selection
shall liable to be declared null & void without any notice in case any document is found fake
or forged or not meeting the required criteria/rules. Verification of original documents would
be done at the time of counseling and joining. The purpose would be to verify different records
regarding identification, age, original certificates qualifying examination, state of eligibility,
category etc, of the candidate. On failing to establish of any of the documents the candidate
will not be considered for recruitment and shall be liable for criminal action.
ii. The candidate should take a print-out of the Application Performa
and send it duly
filled & signed with two passport size photographs, one pasted & cross signed on the
application form and the other enclosed separately, along with photocopies of the documents
in support of the information provided in Application against the columns marked “asterisk”
and a Demand draft towards Application fee, so as to reach in the office of the undersigned
latest by 5.00 PM of 30h November, 2011. The Application received later
than the scheduled date & time shall not be considered and out rightly rejected. The
department shall not be responsible for delayed receipt of applications even on account of
postal delay, if any.
iii. The candidate should indicate on the top of the envelop, the name of the Post applied for
and Sr. No. of the Post in the Advertisement.
E.
OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
i. The Managing Director, The Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Ltd. reserves
the right to modify or with-draw this employment notice without assigning any reasons
ii. The number of Vacancies notified may vary.
iii. Prescribed minimum and maximum age for these posts shall be determined on the basis of last date
of receipt of applications. No relaxation in age in the prescribed limits is permissible for any
category of candidates except the cases covered under condition No. (ix) here-under
iv. The candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application for each post
along with separate requisite Demand Draft
v No traveling Allowance will be admissible for appearing in written test
-5vi . The Selected candidate, if already in employment, shall furnish “No objection certificate”
from his employer and shall have to be get himself relieved after resigning, within the given
time.
vii. The appointment letters to the candidates selected for the Milk Union posts shall be issued by the
General Managers of respective District Cooperative Milk Producers Unions
viii The selected candidate(s) shall be liable to be posted anywhere in Punjab or any other office of the
Milkfed/Milk Union outside Punjab.
ix. In terms of orders of the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court in respect of surplus employees
of Spinfed, Punjab and subsequent instructions from the Registrar Cooperative Societies,
Punjab in respect of surplus employees of Spinfed and Sugarfed, Punjab, such candidates,
who apply, shall be considered subject to meeting the prescribed eligibility and other criteria for
recruitment.
The eligible employees of the Tourism Department, Punjab, who have taken
VRS & were relieved and apply in response to this advertisement shall also be considered
subject to meeting the prescribed eligibility and other criteria for recruitment as per
instructions of the Registrar Cooperative Societies, Punjab
