The Campus Liaison Council is a committee of the Executive Branch led by the Chief of Staff
whose responsibility is to serve as a board of liaisons responsible for fostering communication
and productive relationships between various areas of campus and Student Government.

numbers 1-7 next to each area on campus with 1 being your strongest preference and 7 being
your least. Two Liaisons will be selected for each campus area. See page 2 for the list of
departments each liaison is expected to work with.

and how you were able to overcome that conflict.

efficiently work with groups of students?

Applications are due to the Student Government office (UC 214) by 5:00 PM Friday, April 19.
Qualified applicants with complete applications will be contacted on Friday, April 19 to schedule
an interview during the week of April 22-26.

About Campus Liaisons:
Liaisons are responsible for regularly communicating relevant Student Government projects
and initiatives to their respective departments and for serving as the student body
representative to the departments.
Each Liaison shall act as a first point of contact for members of Student Government who wish
to present projects or initiatives related to the Liaison’s department. Throughout the duration
of a project or initiative, liaisons shall coordinate, facilitate and participate in communications
and meetings among members of each department and Student Government.
Liaisons shall update the Chief of Staff of their respective departments’ ongoing projects and
initiatives immediately following any meetings or communications with their respective
departments. In addition, the Council as a whole shall meet with the Chief of Staff no less than
once every fourteen (14) days during the Fall and Spring semesters, at a set time and location.

Campus Facilities and Security: University of Miami Facilities Management Department,
University of Miami Police Department, Office of Emergency Management, Department of

Dining Services: University of Miami Dining Services Department and Chartwells
Health and Wellness: Patti and Allan Herbert Wellness Center, University of Miami Counseling
Center, Student Health Center, and Pier 21
Information Technology: University of Miami Information Technology Department
Library: Richter Library and all other on-campus undergraduate libraries
Parking and Transportation: University of Miami Department of Parking and Transportation
