Advice to schools
Legionella Management – Holiday Periods
Schools are reminded that management arrangements should
continue through school holiday periods, in particular:

The weekly flush through and purge to a drain of the little used
outlets in school.

The monthly check of hot water temperatures at a selection of
taps to check the temperature reaches 50ºC after 1 minute.

The monthly check of cold water sentinel taps to check the
temperature reaches 20ºC after 2 minutes.
