4. FIRST AID MEASURES
General advice In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately
(show safety data sheet if possible).
Even in the case of a mere suspicion of poisoning a doctor must be consulted.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Move victim out of danger zone and lay down.
Put victim at rest, cover with a blanket and keep warm.
Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
Symptoms of poisoning may develop several hours following exposure.
Victim should be under medical observation for at least 48 hours after exposure.
If inhaled When inhaling vapours, first symptoms of poisoning may develop hours later, so always consult a
doctor. In case of breathing difficulties administer oxygen. If victim is at risk of losing consciousness, position
and transport on their side. No mouth-to-mouth or mouth-to-nose resuscitation.Use respiratory bag or oxygen
resuscitation apparatus. In the case of lung irritation: Primary treatment using corticoide spray, eg. Auxiloson
spray, Pulmicort-dosage-spray. (Auxiloson and Pulmicort are registered trademarks). Move victim to fresh air.
Put victim at rest and keep warm.
In case of skin contact Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.
In case of prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact: Immediately get medical attention.
Do not rinse with: Solvent / Thinner. Alcohol.
In case of eye contact Immediately get medical attention.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids
apart.
Protect the eye that is not injured. If swallowed Immediately get medical attention.
Do not induce vomiting. Let water be swallowed in little sips.

Milk or fat oils and are strongly contraindicated.
Notes to physician First Aid, decontamination, treatment of symptoms.
Hazards: Following decontamination of the skin, pain treatment and shock prophylaxis.
Process vapours can irritate airways, skin and eyes. Danger of poisoning when in contact with mucous
membrane. It can take hours before symptoms of poisoning show up following exposure.
Symptoms: unconsciousness. Impaired consciousness. Depression of the central nervous system. vomiting.
Coughing. Narcosis condition. Intoxication. Dizziness. Liver and kidney damage.
Treatment: In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of flowing
water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart. In case of skin contact, wash immediately with large quantities
of water/polyethylene glycol 400 (Roticlean). Treat skin and mucous membrane with antihistermine and cortison
preparation.
5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media Carbon dioxide (CO2). Extinguishing powder. Water fog. alcohol resistant foam.
In case of major fire and large quantities: Water fog. alcohol resistant foam.

The product is hardly ignitable. Vapours are heavier than air and will spread at floor level.
In case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes.
Use water spray/stream to protect personnel and to cool endangered containers.
Can be released in case of fire: Sulfur oxides Sulphuric acid and sulphurous
acid. Possibly extensive generation of hydrogen on contact with amphoteric
metals (e.g. aluminium, lead, zinc) (explosive hazard!). Special protective equipment for
firefighting Protective respiration apparatus not using surrounding air (breathing apparatus)
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Full protective suit. Additional information on firefighting
Use water spray/stream to protect personnel and to cool endangered containers.
Use a water spray jet to knock down vapours/gases/mists.
Do not allow to enter into soil/subsoil. Do not empty into drains or the aquatic environment.

6. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Advice on safe handling Keep container tightly closed.
Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Do not breathe gas/fumes/vapour/spray. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion
The product is hardly ignitable. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.
Storage space and container requirements
Store only in original container.
Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.
Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. - No smoking.
The floor should be leak tight, jointless and not absorbent.
