St Michael’s CE (VA) Primary School King’s Way Lyme Regis Dorset DT7 3DY Tel. & Fax 01297 442623 Email: office@stmichaelslyme.dorset.sch.uk Tuesday, February 16, 2016 Dear Parents, Church School Involvement and Dates We are all looking forward to another very positive year and are aiming for St. Michael’s School to continue to celebrate our children, their thinking, learning and uniqueness. If children are confident, they will be able to learn even more. Being a church school really supports the opportunities and experiences that the children have and we are conscious that it can be difficult to arrange family life so that your children can be involved in special times at church at the weekends. Parental involvement and support is essential for the success of the school and children. We therefore would like to tell you about some opportunities for the children and yourselves through the year both in school and at St Michael’s Parish Church. All children and families are encouraged to join us at each event. If you have any ideas about how we could develop these events please drop a note into the office addressed to the Christian Ethos Group who will be more than pleased to consider your thoughts. We have Staff/Governors/Children in our group. If you would like to join us as a parent, please write a note to the group.
