West GA Dixie Baseball
Fall Ball 2012 Season
West GA Dixie Baseball is kicking off its 2012 Fall Ball
season in Columbus. The registration period for the 2012 Fall
Ball season will begin in September 8 and 15 at 10:00-2:00 and
September 9 and 16 from 2:00-4:00. Registration will be on the
2nd floor of the field house. We are looking forward to your participation in our league.
The league is located behind Wal-Mart on Airport Thruway, known as the Dixie Baseball
Complex.
13-14 year olds will play together on a smaller field to help develop their bodies and
arms. The field dimensions will be 80’ bases and 54’ pitching distance to home plate.
This will allow an intermediate step before hitting the regulation high school field.
All players in Tri-county area are welcome. As long as you do not have Dixie Baseball in
your area or are assigned to an area, you are free to play with West GA Dixie Baseball
League. Teams will be formed based upon numbers of boys signed up. You need a
minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 15.
For your convenience we have attached the league’s registration form. Please
complete the form and bring it, along with your birth certificate and proof of address to
registration. Registration for Dixie Boys will be held on the dates indicated above. The
total registration fee is $65 (This includes registration only. Uniforms will be sandlot
versions – minimum hat and shirt depending on team). The age determination date is as
of November 1, 2012.
