Entrants in the 2015/2016 AEPMA Photography Prize (APP) can be of any age, from any country and not necessarily be pest controllers. Copyright a. Entrants will retain copyright in/of their photograph. b. Each entrant grants AEPMA a non-exclusive perpetual licence to use photograph images to promote AEPMA, including (without limitation) in both digital and print form and to exhibit the photograph images in public places, on the AEPMA website and print and social media. AEPMA will credit the photograph source where possible. c. AEPMA will endeavour to prevent non-authorised reproduction of the image, but is not liable for any such reproduction. d. The print enlargements prepared for exhibition as finalists remain the property of AEPMA after exhibiting concludes but will not be sold. 2. The photographs submitted must have been taken since 1st March, 2015 and must have been solely the work of the entrant. There is no limit to the number of entries each entrant can submit. 3. Entry opens on 1st April, 2015 and the final date for entry to the 2015/2016 APP is on or prior to midnight, Australian Eastern Standard Time on 31st March, 2016. 4. Diptychs, Triptychs or any other multiple image entries are not acceptable. 5. Photographs may be either colour or monochrome. 6. Entry is via the AEPMA National Office. Photographs are to be resized to 1024 pixels on the longest side of the image and be in JPEG/JPG format. No entry fees are required. There will be no restriction on the number of photographs entered by each entrant. 7. All correspondence should be forwarded to AEPMA, PO Box 3102, Hendra, QLD, 4011. Entrants whose photographs are selected as finalists agree to AEPMA producing the prints for exhibition at no cost to the entrant. 8. AEPMA will take all care but bear no responsibility for the print enlargements selected as finalists during exhibition periods. 9. The exhibition will be held in Australia in September 2016 at a venue and date TBA. 10. The prize in the APP is to win one of three iPad Air 16GB or equivalent worth $500 each. 11. NOTE FOR ALL COMPETITORS AEPMA does not accept any liability for lost, delayed or incomplete entries. The decision on all matters relating to the judging is final and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the competition’s judging. PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION Entries will only be accepted in the JPEG (.jpg) digital format. Digital images can only be submitted online using the specific entry form. Digital images must not exceed a file size of 4MB. Entries over this size restriction will not be accepted. Please note that AEPMA may contact winning entrants to obtain higher resolution images for inclusion in our Photo Gallery and other areas of the website. The entrant must hold copyright of any photograph entered in this competition. AEPMA reserves the right to request supporting evidence. Any photograph that has won a prize previously in any other competition is not eligible for entry. AEPMA reserves the right to showcase photograph entries within the AEPMA website as examples of entry. AEPMA reserves the right to use photograph entries as part of the AEPMA website’s general content. This competition is for the best photograph of Australian pests. Only photographs of Australian pests and/or Australian content will be accepted into the competition. Photographs of babies, children and pets will not be accepted. 13. COMPETITION PRIZES Competition prizes cannot be redeemed as cash. Prizes can only be redeemed as a $500 voucher. Winners may however choose to add additional monies to upgrade the value of their prize. The winner must claim their prize within 30 days of being notified that they have won the competition. All vouchers are valid for six months from the date of purchase and must be utilised following the AEPMA terms and conditions. If the cost of the voucher is less than the value of the prize amount, any difference in cost is forfeited.
