‫סמינר זה יבחן‪ ,‬בהשתתפותם הפעילה של הסטודנטים ובאמצעות הרצאות פרונטליות‪ ,‬מאמרים‬
‫והקרנת דוגמאות ‪ -‬את הספרות התיאורטית והמחקרית הקיימת בנושא ייצוגים טלוויזיוניים‬
‫והשפעתם על זהות אישית וקולקטיבית‪ .‬בין הנושאים התיאורטיים שיעלו בהקשר זה‪:‬‬
‫סטראוטיפים‪ ,‬ריאליזם‪ ,‬יחסים בין טקסט לקונטקסט‪ ,‬ייצוגים בז'אנרים שונים ובמדינות שונות‬
‫(בעיקר ארה"ב‪ ,‬בריטניה וישראל) ועוד‪ .‬בין תחומי הייצוג שיודגשו במהלך ההרצאות‪ :‬גזע‪,‬‬
‫מעמד‪ ,‬גיל‪ ,‬מקצועות (כגון רפואה)‪ ,‬המשפחה ועוד‪.‬‬
‫‪This seminar will examine the theoretical and research literature regarding‬‬
‫‪television representation and their influence of personal and collective identities.‬‬
‫‪Among the examined themes: stereotypes, realism, text and context, television‬‬
‫‪representations in different genres and cultures and more.‬‬
