Amendment of the Regulations on Testing Fees and the Test Application of Livestock

Description of content: This proposal seeks to amend the Regulations on Testing Fees and
the Test Application of Livestock Products in accordance with the Livestock Products
Sanitation Act to align the testing fee imposed on the criteria so that they are consistent with
other national food related regulations which already have "the Benefit Principle" applied to
the testing fees of foods.

In addition, the proposed amendment includes the followings:

specifying the type of tests and the testing fees of items that need to be tested

specifying the payment methods of inspection fees, testing fees, etc.

revising the scope of exemption of inspection fees and testing fees.

enabling the advertising or labelling of the test results on products through the
testing of applicants, under the conditions specified in the proposal.
