Non Peer-to-Peer Behavior Rubric
This rubric is intended as a guide to addressing student behavior. The RJ Steering Committee and
Discipline Committee recognize that our goal is one of a cultural shift to help students think in terms of
community. When students falter, it is our responsibility to educate them with an intervention of a
restorative nature with the express purpose of teaching students to grow from their mistakes and
develop stronger bonds and relationships within their school community.
*All infractions should be discussed in neighborhood and/or team meetings. Unified Arts, Special ed
and other peripheral team teachers who cannot attend these meetings should be kept in the loop.*
* Students sent to Time Out should be presented with the blue reminder card and asked to answer the
questions on the card.
