We need companies/organizations/individuals/groups to elslc.org
collect shelf stable food items (we have a list of specific
items) for our blizzard bags. We provide these bags to
our clients to use when we can't deliver meals due to
bad weather or other emergencies. Last winter we had
to cancel deliveries 13 times. We want to collect enough
food to fill 1200 bags.
We need to keep track of the items collected so that we
have enough of each item to fill the bags (and shelf life
that extends into mid-2016). Please contact Janelle for
the list of specific items needed.
