2016 UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Scholarship Amount:
$500 to be used for tuition or school supplies
Criteria for applying:
You must be either:
(1)
A full-time undergraduate student at a university or college in the
cities/counties of Chesapeake, Hampton, James City, Isle of Wight,
Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Smithfield, Suffolk, Virginia Beach,
Williamsburg, or York, Virginia, who is an active member of a National
Panhellenic Sorority; or
(2)
A resident of the cities/counties of Chesapeake, Hampton, James City,
Isle of Wight, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Smithfield, Suffolk,
Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, or York, Virginia, who is an
Undergraduate Student at any college or university, who is an active
member of a National Panhellenic Sorority; and
(3)
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Instructions for Applying:


(1)
Complete the attached application form and
(2)
Submit a letter of reference from one of following: a Chapter Advisor, a Greek Advisor, or a
Professor.
NOTE:
Applications that are missing any portion of this application and/or do not meet the minimum
requirements will not be considered.
Applicants must be attending the university or college during the semester the scholarship funds
are awarded.

The scholarship will be awarded at the Tidewater Alumnae Panhellenic Association’s annual Spring Luncheon
in May (Date/Location TBD). Winners will be notified no later than April 1, 2016 and are invited to attend the
Luncheon as guests of TAPA.
