Through interlinked themes of Engagement, Promotion & Pathways,
this forum will:
 focus on the strategic and operational issues involved in
engaging with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD)
communities
 address priority issues emerging from the 2009 project research
 assist in raising awareness of cultural issues faced by CALD
learners in accessing skills programs and training pathways
 facilitate the sharing of skills and strategies for enhancing the
social inclusion of CALD learners in local communities.

Additional information
The project will provide overnight accommodation, when necessary, for up to 3
participants per non-metropolitan ACE Provider. Participants will be informed of
accommodation details after registration has been processed. Reimbursement of travel
and meals costs will be processed on receipt of a tax invoice from the participant's ACE
Provider. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea will be provided at the Jasper Hotel. A
street map and details of transport and parking options have been circulated with this
registration form.
