To carry out Installation, operation and commissioning of A.C. variable frequency drives (VFD).
To carry out In-house repairing and testing the A.C. variable frequency drives.
To carry out installation and commissioning of A.C. drives for different application modes after some
software and hardware modifications.
To carry out Installation and trouble shooting of PLC (Programmable logic controller).
To carry out Installation and trouble shooting of HMI (Human machine interface).
To carry out Installation, measurement and trouble shooting of temperature controllers with SCR (silicon
controlled rectifier) or thyristors.

OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE







Planning and implementation of Preventive Maintenance of machineries and instruments with standard
operating procedure (SOP) to increase machine running time and reduces breakdown.
To carry out yearly calibration planning for field instruments.
To carry out calibration of temperature indicators and controllers (TIC), thermo-couples (TC) and resistance
temperature detector (RTD) with making calibration reports and certificates.
Controlling automated electrical furnaces from its electrical functioning.
To carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of pneumatic instruments.
To carry out analysis and record of daily Power Consumption reports in each machines and electrical
furnaces.
To carry out daily work of materials reservation, notification, order generate, purchase & service requisitions,
service entry sheet in System Application & Product (SAP).





To maintain detailed technical records of each instruments and machines including control process
software’s, data, catalogs, technical manuals, history cards for machines.
To identify the root cause of electrical & instrumentation breakdowns and troubleshoot it in order to avoid
a re-occurrence of breakdowns.
Coordination with production department for attending urgent breakdowns.
Follow process improvement and quality improvement activities – TPM, 5S and ISO.
Trouble shooting critical electrical & instrumentation breakdowns in stainless steel wire drawing machines
i.e. - straight line m/c, inverted coiler m/c, MIG & TIG spooler m/c, wet- drawing m/c, ded block coiler,
gravity block, block to block, over to over, single head, electrical furnaces, take-up and etc.
PROJECTS EXECUTION




Carried out project of installation and commissioning of automation stainless steel wire drawing plant.
Implementation and maintained the Preventive Maintenance module including Breakdowns, Preventive
Maintenance and power consumption in System Application & Products (SAP) for Electrical &
Instrumentation department.
Carried out coast saving project in 25 cooling towers (10 HP motor per C.T).
Carried out heating element failure indication monitoring system for electrical heating furnaces.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENT



Prepared S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedure) for Preventive Maintenance of each machines of
stainless steel wire drawing plant.
Run the fully automated MIG-Spooler wire drawing machine which was in permanent breakdown
from long time, due to that enhance the productivity of organization.
Successfully completed the project of installation and commissioning of automated stainless steel
wire drawing plant in Viraj Profiles Limited.
