Consulting geologist with more than 40 years experience as a professional geologist and manager focusing
on uranium exploration and development projects with extensive experience with various conventional,
open pit and ISR exploration methods. With a strong focus on Utah, Colorado and Wyoming uranium
deposits. Skilled in managing and carrying out uranium exploration, development and property evaluation
and assessment programs.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBLITIES
2006 to present: Consulting Geologist
Uranium and other metals geological consulting services for corporate and individual clients as a member
of the Integrated Production Resources team. Tasks included;
 property evaluation and recommendation,
 finding and selecting potential uranium exploration target areas,
 grassroots exploration in a Wyoming sedimentary basin,
 oversight and evaluation of uranium exploration drilling programs.
1987 to 2006: Cotter Corporation, Corporate Office – Denver, Colorado
Geological / Environmental Engineer;
 responsible for the evaluation and design of In-Situ mining plans for sandstone hosted uranium
deposits,
 development and evaluation of uranium exploration projects, including conceptualization,
implementation, and evaluation of future mineral development and production properties,
 managed corporate land tenure, including responsibility for timely rental and lease payments,
 provided technical guidance for development and implementation of ground and surface water
monitoring and remediation programs.
1984 to 1986: Cotter Corporation, Exploration Field Office – Moab, Utah
Geologist:
 managed and developed uranium Exploration projects in southeastern Utah and southwestern
Colorado,
 projects included literature research, reconnaissance and detailed geologic mapping,
 description of stratigraphic sections, drill cuttings and core,
 subsurface geologic interpretation and mapping of sedimentary facies and environments,
 ore reserve calculations and property evaluation report preparation.
1983 (seasonal): U.S.D.A. Forest Service – Yakima, Washington
Geologist:
 responsible for Common Variety Mineral Inventory of existing, proposed, and potential rock
material sites on the Naches Ranger District,
 supervision of core drilling activities at rock material sites and potential bridge sites,
 assisting the District Geologist with geologic engineering envestigations.
1976 to 1982: Atlas Minerals Corporation, Exploration Office – Moab, Utah
Exploration Geologist:
 originated and implemented a regional uranium reconnaissance program, using conceptualization
and modeling techniques, resulting in acquisition of uranium-bearing lands,
 directed exploration programs for sandstone type uranium deposits in southwestern Colorado and
southeastern Utah, leading to the discovery of uranium ore reserves,
 responsible for supervision of four to eleven other geologists and geo-technicians, drilling and
geophysical logging services, and budgeting of projects and programs.
1974 to 1976: International Atomic Energy Agency – Kavala, Greece
Economic Geologist-Advisor to the Greek Atomic Energy Agency:
 member of a four man team responsible for training Greek geologists and prospectors in the
techniques of uranium exploration,
 supervised the training and exploration activities of two to five Greek geologists and prospectors,
 assisted the Greek geologists with an exploration program leading to the discovery of uranium
mineralization.
1970 to 1974: Atlas Minerals Corporation, Exploration Office – Moab, Utah
Geologist:
 conducted uranium exploration and development projects for Colorado Plateau type deposits and
Tertiary sandstone deposits in the Gas Hills District of Wyoming,
 conducted under ground exploration and supervised an ore reserve drilling program in the Big
Indian District,
 directed reconnaissance exploration for fluorspar in Nevada and New Mexico,
 assisted other company geologists and contractors with base metal exploration projects in
Montana, Utah, and Arizona.
1969 to 1970: Union Oil Company, Exploration Office – Roswell, New Mexico
Geologic Trainee:
 correlated sample and electric logs, constructed subsurface geologic maps and cross sections,
 supervised drill stem tests and geophysical logging activities,
 described drill cuttings at wildcat well sites.
