SCHOOL’S DISCIPLINARY RULES AND
REGULATIONS.
Student shall be allowed into the school only on condition that he will abide
by the rules and regulations of the school and if any infringements of rules
and regulations will make him liable for dismissal. School fees paid so for
shall not be refunded.
Students taken the disciplinary committee due to disobeying and not
observing the rules and regulations of the school may be given one of the
punishments according to the discipline clauses.

Suspension provisional
4.
Suspension indefinite.
In case of forewarning notice and notification of violation, the student is
warned about the violation he has committed. The punishment decision
addressed to the student, his guardian and the hostel warden is written.
Students are expelled from the school atleast one week incase of suspension
provisional. A copy of suspension decision is enclosed in the student’s file.
In case of indefinite suspension, the student is dismissed from the school.
He must leave the school and or hostel within one day dating from the
notification of the decision. The decision is immediately addressed in writing to
be guardian of the student as well as student.
Article 1
Forewarning notice.
(a)
creating disturbance in the school by talking loudly, ululating etc.
(b)
changing places of property belonging to the school.
(c)
Threatening fellow students with violence.
(d)
Keeping of long hair, beards and moustache.
(e)
Changing of houses without notifying the school administration.
(f)
No student is allowed to receive or attend to any within the
school premises without permission from the school administration.
(g)
Reporting back to school late or beyond the date stipulated.

Article 2.
Acts determining notification of violation and punishment within the
school.
(a)
making noise on assembly, not standing in a queue or creating
disturbance.
(b)
Cheating in exams
(c)
Walking out of class during or at the beginning of a lesson.
(d)
Dodging class whether the lesson is time tabled or not but prior
notice given by the teacher concerned.
(e)
Dodging extracurricular activities e.g sports, games and drama etc
(f)
Dodging prep, roll call or sleeping in class during prep time.
(g)
The medium of communication in English.
(h)
Appearing shabbily dressed or improper dressing during and after
classes.
(i)
Not respecting dormitory rules and regulations e.g noise making in
the dormitories after lights of hours.
(j)
Changing rooms or beds in the hostel without notification of the
hostel master or school administration.
(k)
Not respecting dining rules and regulations e.g noise making meals,
getting extra food without permission, creating disturbance on the
meal queues etc.
(l)
Every student must wear school uniform at all times except as
exempted by the school authority.
(m) Moving dining property e.g spoons , forks, tables etc without
permission from the school authority.
(n)
Borrowing and lending money to a fellow student.
(o)
Transacting business among students i.e buying and selling of any
property within the school premises.
(p)
Keeping the habit of late coming
(q)
Punctuality within the school premises.
(r)
Being involved in telling lies or any other form of fabrication.
(s)
Morning and evening preps are compulsory to all boarders.
(t)
Being involved in the act of disobedience, speaking slang, indecent
behaviour and making bad jokes.
(u)
Writing indecent graphics, drawing indecent pictures on any place
within the school premises eg on the school notice board,
blackboards, walls, desks and school books.
(v)
Entering any prohibited place in the school without permission.
(w) Damaging school property or property belonging to a fellow student.
(x)
Having no respect of the stipulated rules and regulations ie dining
rules, class rooms rules, hostel rules, games and sports rules and any
other that may apply.
(y)
Every student must participate in at least one sport or game.
(z)
Having received two forewarning notices.

Putting or removing any written material etc from /on the school
notice boards without permission from the school administration.
Tests, exams and homework are compulsory to all students.
Every student must attend the assembly. If found missing, he will
serve punishment.
No student is allowed to tamper with the school’s electrical of water
system. If found, you may be asked to replace or be suspended.
Those caught with illegal wear will be suspended and the clothes
confiscated.
Treated hair and fancy hair styles are not allowed in school. Keep
short hair.
Use of vulgar languages is strictly forbidden.
Article 3
Acts determining suspension provisional.
(a)
having a meeting without permission from the administration within
the school premises.
(b)
Gambling of any nature is strictly forbidden.
(c)
Committing provocative, oral and / or written attitude against a
school staff.
(d)
Trespass or being found out of bounds to students e.g teachers
quarters, staff room etc.
(e)
Making political, racial sectarian, religious, social propaganda or
suspending pictures or writings related to sectarianism, spreading
publications, symbols of an ideology, writing graphics with the school
premises.
(f)
Bringing illicit publication to the school and spreading them to the
students such written material could be tabloids like red paper,
magazines like playboy etc.
(g)
Persistently showing lack of focus in academics.
(h)
Deceiving, conning or cheating a parent, guardian, teacher etc with
intent to gain financially.
(i)
Insolence to any members of staff or prefects body is strictly
forbidden.
(j)
Possession of a mobile phone.
(k)
Being in possession of a radio, mp3, mp4, water heaters and any
other electrical gadgets except the calculator and flat iron, is
restricted.
(l)
Impersonation in an offence.
Article 4
Acts determining suspension indefinite.
(a)
committing theft / stealing within or outside school premises.

Committing immoral and unbecoming behaviour within or outside
the school premises e.g fighting, drinking alcohol or intoxicants,
smoking etc in our school uniform or any act that causes disrepute
to the name of the school.
Threatening to, or acting with aggression to an in charge staff
member of fellow student eg beating fighting etc.
Fighting or any attempt to engage or help in any form of fighting is
an offence.
Wounding any individual with sharp, penetrating or explosive
weapons within outside the school premises.
Implicating friends in a common boycott against school staff or
demonstrating bias (for the case of judgement in sports or games)
with intent to mobilize students against a decision by the school
authority.
Committing crimes that are determined by the laws of Uganda such
as murder, corruption, bribery, forgery etc.
Drinking of alcohol or intoxicants within the school premises.
Appearing drunk or intoxicated or smelling of liquor within the
school.
Smoking cigarettes, chewing drugs or anything related to that.
Being involved in undesirable acts e.g fighting, drinking intoxicants
/ liquor, smoking etc in our school uniform or any act that causes
disrepute to the name of the school.
Having received two suspensions provisional.
Committing the act of escapism
Moral turpitude eg sodomy and lesbianism is strictly forbidden.
Boyfriend, girl friend relationships (love) in the school are totally
prohibited and unlawful.
