Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 7:30 A. M. to 3:30 P. M., except Holidays. LEGAL HOLIDAYS (Landfill shall be closed) New Year’s Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Veteran’s Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Any questions, please call the Middleboro Highway Department, 508-946-2481, Monday through Friday, 7:00 A. M. to 3:30 P. M. Landfill Permits: Landfill Permits are available at the D. P. W. office located at 48 Wareham Street, Middleboro, MA, Monday through Friday, 7:00 A. M. to 3:30 P. M. Residential landfill permits are required to enter the landfill and must be presented to the Gate Attendant. Residential Permits are $25.00 per fiscal year, (JULY 1 TO JUNE 30), which covers 12 visits to the landfill for that fiscal year. A vehicle registration showing a vehicle registered to your home address will be required to purchase a landfill permit. NO DUPLICATES WILL BE ISSUED. Residents that exceed their twelve visits per year will be required to use the scale. Fees are below. SCALE FEES Scale fee is three cents ($0.04) a pound with a minimum fee of five dollars ($5.00).
