SENIOR SPORTS STAR OF THE YEAR AWARD
JUDGING CRITERIA
1.
The judging year shall be from October 1 – September 30 (inclusive).
Only performances during this 12 month period will be considered.
2.
A nominee should be over 18 in the award period, at 30 September.
3.
There will be ONE major winner for each year.
4.
(a) It is the responsibility of the nominating York Club/Association to be a registered York
sporting organization whose members participate within the boundaries of the York
Shire.
(b) Candidates must be a member of the club and participate locally in the judging year.
5.
Applications must contain a resume of accomplishments.
6.
Clubs/ Associations may only nominate one member.
7.
Nominees may be nominated in consecutive years (previous winner eligible).
8.
Judging of this Award shall be done in private and is strictly confidential.
9.
Nominees for this award must be a York Resident.
