Follywood Action Plan

We walked through wood to look at different areas. Professional felling now
complete. Lots of projects ready now for members to work on.
We agreed to combine celebratory gatherings and work days, to include: tree
planting, clearing the new clearing, compost toilet construction, play area
planning/making, moving/making benches on the following dates, 1.00 to 4.00pm,
with lunch:
Sunday October 28th
Saturday November 10th
Sunday December 9th
Saturday January 26th
Sunday February 17th
Saturday March 16th
Insurance
Simon Arundel has this in hand. All directors agreed that they were happy not to pay
for additional cover for officer and director liabilities such as corporate manslaughter.
Copies of chain saw certificates required before cover finalised.
Need to minute safety checks made on trees and work undertaken accordingly Alice looking into relevant courses.
Finance
We have £2956 in the bank account.
Voluntary contributions - thanks to Helen for organising this and to all who have
added to the £200 already raised. Helen to send out reminder.
£175 received from Silvanus for the Community Woodland case study research.
£80 raised from selling thick planks of wood milled in the wood.
