Letter of Response to Lasalle/Elisabella Industrial Area project Deadline for response is Monday, April 16, 2012. Please return to: Jean-Mathieu Chenier, Business Development Officer, Greater Sudbury Development Corporation, P.O. Box 5000, Stn. A, 200 Brady St. Sudbury, ON P3A 5P3 I, the undersigned, acknowledge receiving an information package outlining a proposal by the City of Greater Sudbury for the Lasalle/Elisabella Industrial Land Infrastructure Strategy. I also acknowledge receipt of an invitation to attend an information centre where I had an opportunity to speak with City of Greater Sudbury staff to learn more about the proposal and its potential impact on property owners in the Lasalle/Elisabella industrial area. As explained by staff, if the proposal is approved by Greater Sudbury Council, 50 per cent of the final net construction cost, following deductions of grants, engineering and design costs attributable to the project, will be assessed against property owners in the project area. Each property owner will have the opportunity to either pay the amount attributable to that owner’s property in advance, or by annual installments amortized over five years. One-fifth of the current estimated cost share for each property will be due on January 1, 2013. I (__________________________________________________________________) support the Lasalle/Elisabella Industrial Land Infrastructure Strategy as outlined. OR I (__________________________________________________________________) do NOT support the Lasalle/Elisabella Industrial Land Infrastructure Strategy as outlined. I understand that a summary of responses received from Lasalle/Elisabella industrial area property owners will be provided to Greater Sudbury Council for consideration during deliberations to determine whether the project will proceed. If Council approves the project, it is anticipated that construction of the sewer and water works will begin as early as the summer of 2012 and all property owners in the Lasalle/Elisabella industrial area will be required to contribute to the cost. If Council does not approve the project, no further work will be done to install the sewer or water lines at this time. I am the owner of the property municipally known as__________________________________________________________ (Corporate owners sign here) (Individual owners sign here) _______________________________________ _____________________________________________ (Corporate Name) Per: Authorized Signing Officers (Signature) _______________________________________ _____________________________________________ (Signature) (Name) ________________________________________ _____________________________________________ (Name, Title) (Signature) ________________________________________ _____________________________________________ (Signature) (Name) ________________________________________ (Name, Title)
