Junior Project Guidelines
As part of the Pioneer Career and Technology Center curriculum, all students are required to
complete a research project. Senior projects help provide students with an opportunity to
demonstrate skills in a career-related interest area. In preparation for the Senior Project, junior
students are required to complete a research paper in the English classroom. The project is
completed in the second semester of the junior year and has specific guidelines for all students.
Argumentative/Persuasive Topics:
Individual instructor’s discretion.
Junior paper topics can be lab-related but MUST BE approached in a different way
in the senior year if topics are re-visited. Senior English instructors may require
