FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
EASTER – a name taken from an ancient celebration of
the goddess of Spring. FOR US – a celebration of Jesus. OUR
PASSOVER - Jesus passing over from death to life in the
Resurrection.
It is our Passover from death to life. We celebrate Jesus’
resurrection, and, at the same time, we renew our Baptism
promises - promises made for us when we were infants, and now
we make them for ourselves.
To fulfill our promises, we think of parishes that will
remain open in this century. The parishioners will support the
parish by their presence and sacrificial generosity.
OFFERTORY FOR LAST WEEKEND.…$4346.48
EASTER COLLECTION: There will be ONE collection at the
Masses on Easter. Special Easter envelopes will be found in your
monthly envelope packet. Contributions placed in the special
Easter envelopes will be sent to the Archdiocese for the support
of our sick and retired priests.

RECONFIGURATION OF PARISHES
As you may be aware, the results of all of our parish and
cluster meetings have been submitted to our Vicariate (South
Region of the Archdiocese). From there, they have been sent to
the Central Commission which consists of Priests, Sisters and
Laity working with Bishop Lennon. We have been requested to
pray diligently and fervently to the Holy Spirit for guidance
for this group of people to whom so much work of the
Archdiocese has been entrusted. If you would like to keep
abreast of all that is going on in this area, we recommend you go
into the website www.rmc@rcab.org (Rebuild My Church at
Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston) and www.rcab.org and
click on Reconfiguration.

who have attended the 9:00a.m. and 11:00a.m. Masses, has been
praying for you and looking forward to this day when you will
join us at the Table and take your rightful place of ministry in the
Church.
