CADRe PANELIST COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
1.
I certify that I meet the minimum qualifications to serve, and have provided the CADRe office with the
appropriate documentation in order to serve on the CADRe panel(s) indicated below:
Limited Mediation
Binding Arbitration
25-hour single mediation skills training course
2 post-training mediations as mediator
2 participant reference evaluations on file

Member in good standing of the CADRe Mediation panel
Attorney with substantial litigation experience
Attend a mandatory CMADRESS orientation
Mediate at least (7) civil cases with at least 15 hours of post-training mediation

I have attended a CADRe Neutral Orientation.

I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the court-adopted rules of professional responsibility (e.g.
Standards of Practice and California Rules of Court) for the panel(s) on which I seek to serve.
4.
I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the policy for Resignation, Suspension, and Removal from
CADRe Panels.
5.
I agree to serve as an ADR neutral on a pro bono or modest-means basis in at least one case per calendar
year, as requested by the CADRe office [refer CRC 10.781].
6.
I agree to hold harmless from any claims arising out of my service as a CADRe neutral the County of Santa
Barbara and any of its assigns and/or employees acting in their official capacity.
7.
I agree to provide each party and counsel with CADRe post-ADR process evaluation forms and stamped,
addressed envelopes as required by the CADRe program. I also agree to return a Statement of
Agreement/Non-Agreement [ADR-100] to the CADRe office within 10 days after the final ADR session in
every case as required by the CADRe office [refer CRC 3.875].
8.
I agree to work professionally, cooperatively, and respectfully with the court, CADRe staff, counsel, and
litigants to assist in the successful operation of the CADRe program, and to bring to the attention of the
CADRe staff any issues I believe should be addressed.
9.
I agree to subscribe to the CADRe web site as required by CADRe.
10.
I understand that at any time, the court may make changes to the requirements to serve on CADRe panels,
and that to continue to serve as a CADRe neutral, I must comply with any modifications to the requirements
to serve.
